It's a Summer Saturday outside Salt Slush Speed Shop.

A few days per year the sun shines in Gothenburg, Sweden. 10 percent of these few days it's warm outside. We're now talking about good warm and sunny years. Long hot summers. The few warm days needs to be used properly. Add a pandemic and you've built up a crave for hanging out with your likes when the sky is clear.

But first an introduction to Scandinavia. When the temperature is reaching high twenties in Celcius (mid 80 Farenheit) people at latitude 57 gets slow, sloppy and generally lazy. They'll want to do something soft before sipping a beer at the evening barbecue. Morally it's hard to blame them, because there are only a few days per year to feel at ease. Days when all summer dreams could and should come true.

In times of Coronavirus, there are no car meets, no shows and no parties, Hence car guys and car gals came by the Salt Slush Speed Shop this Saturday. For various reasons but with the same basic intention. Hang out with friends and relax.

Here's what happend.
Did I write that Swedes gets sloppy and slow when it's hot. Well, not all. Magnus got manic and celebrated great success. This amazing engine has created some struggle on it's way to a successful start. But that's history now.
Yes, it was sealed too. And so was the deal.
A friend of our garage neighbor showed up in his -65 El Camino.
Carina and I arrived in one of our daily summer rides (Magnuson equipped) C6 Corvette.
Ragnar and Annika changed alternator on the Annika's step side C10. As a consequence the truck moved on from good to great.

Anders Iron LS equipped is now serving as daily drive and leaving space in the workshop...
Yes, we live what we preach. It's Magnuson (Magna Charger) equipped too.
Erling, a Salt Slush customer came by. Why? He felt that he could no longer live with the +600hp that he's currently enjoying with his...yes, you're right it's a Magnuson eqiupped C6 Corvette. He craves more. In situations like this Salt Slush is there to comfort. Trust us, we'll help him out. To be continued....

A warm wind through the hair, a sense of freedom and Hardcore Hemi Hotrod should be for all. Hence Kalle took his mother (90 years old) for a ride. Yes, she was happy and Kalle was happy too. Who can blame them?
Yes, there are other neighbors, garage neighbors, who took the opportunity to show their muscles too.
Roadrunners...
...and Camaros. There were more cars coming by. Mustangs, Mercedes, Buick's, Chryslers, but Cina and I was too busy working with our Oldsmobile Rocket and talking to customers to notice the continuous spontaneous car meet that happened outside our workshop door.

No blues. Just Summertime.
